Job summary
Concord Hospitality Enterprises is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our engineering team at our Jacksonville hotels. You will perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance to keep all equipment in good working order and respond to emergencies with a calm, professional approach.
You will analyze problems, plan corrective actions, and implement solutions using available resources. Duties include plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, and keeping tools clean and safe for the team while
Qualifications
- Experience maintaining building systems in a hotel or similar setting.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, and related hardware.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and job safety analysis guidelines.
- Comfort working independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and guest-service orientation.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance on hotel equipment.
- Analyze problems, plan corrective actions, and implement solutions with available resources.
- Plunge toilets, unclog drains, repair plumbing and electrical items including lamps and A/C.
- Clean, lubricate, protect, and maintain tools and equipment.
- Monitor systems and respond to emergencies to protect guests and property.
- Assist Chief Engineer on building and grounds maintenance and uphold safety standards.
