Job summary

RiseMe is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Engineer to uphold the hotel’s physical plant and equipment. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and respond to emergencies while coordinating with staff and guests for effective service.

Two years in hotel maintenance is preferred. The role requires independent work, strong communication, and the ability to lift heavy objects. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel maintenance or related field.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment and systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical).
• Respond to emergencies such as power outages, floods, and fire alarms.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure longevity and efficiency of equipment.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and hotel policies.
• Assist Director of Engineering with other duties as assigned.

The Hotel Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining the hotel's physical plant and equipment. The Maintenance Engineer must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and must be able to communicate effectively with hotel staff and guests.
