The Westin Dallas Downtown is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Engineer to maintain the hotel's physical plant and equipment, handle routine and emergency maintenance, and work independently or with a team to ensure guest comfort and safety.

The role requires knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems, plus strong communication and teamwork. A high school diploma and at least 2 years in hotel maintenance are expected, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel maintenance or related field.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment and systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical).
• Respond to emergencies (power outages, floods, fire alarms).
• Perform preventative maintenance to extend equipment longevity and efficiency.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies.
• Assist Chief Engineer with other duties.

Job Description: The Westin Dallas Downtown Hotel Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining the hotel's physical plant and equipment. This includes performing routine maintenance and repairs, as well as responding to emergency situations. The Maintenance Engineer must be able to work independently and as part of a team and must be able to communicate effectively with hotel staff and guests.

• Respond to emergency situations, such as power outages, floods, and fire alarms.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure their longevity and efficiency.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the Chief Engineer.
