Job summary

AC Hotel Dallas Downtown is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Engineer to join our team in downtown Dallas. You’ll perform preventative maintenance, handle repairs, and assist across carpentry, plumbing and painting to keep guest rooms and public areas in top condition.

Responsibilities include responding to work orders, inspecting equipment (ice machines, HVAC, kitchen gear, laundry), and upholding safety and security standards while collaborating with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed in a trade preferred (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
• Must have a valid driver’s license for the applicable state.
• Must have an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Repair ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen equipment, laundry gear, HVAC, pool and spa.
• Respond to alarms, investigate causes, and report findings.
• Access to sensitive areas with integrity and security.
• Interact with guests and colleagues professionally and drive safely when required.
