Job summary

Cliff Castle Casino Hotel in Camp Verde, AZ is seeking a skilled Hotel Maintenance Worker to perform general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces, restaurant and common areas. Under supervision, you will support engineering and preventive maintenance programs and respond to safety concerns.

You will work with a range of trade tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting and tile, plus pool and spa upkeep.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years resort/hotel maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of building and equipment maintenance/repair techniques.
• Ability to use power hand tools and equipment.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a drug test/background for AZ Gaming License.

• Responds to all building-related safety concerns.
• Supports hotel/lodge departmental maintenance programs and executes daily, weekly and monthly checklists.
• Deals with Guest related concerns.
• Maintains Guest rooms, public space, and back of the hotel areas in good repair by performing various tasks related to a variety of trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting, wall covering and tiling to ensure an attractive and well-maintained hotel.
• Cleans and maintains pool and spa.
• Operates forklifts, scissor lifts, tractor, dollies and other basic loading and unloading equipment as required.
• Drives vehicles to transport materials such as furniture, supplies or equipment as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Work Experience:
  • Three (3) years of resort or hotel maintenance experience
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of building and equipment maintenance/repair techniques.
  • Skill in applying building and equipment maintenance/repair techniques.
  • Ability to use power hand tools and equipment.
• Professional Licenses & Certifications Requirements:
  • Pool/Spa Certification (CPO)
• Must be 18+ years old and be available for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a drug test and background check for an AZ Gaming License.
