Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a maintenance technician to perform general upkeep of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a hotel or resort setting. The role involves hands-on repairs and routine maintenance to ensure guest comfort and safety.

The position requires experience in hotel maintenance, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication. Availability for weekends and holidays is expected. A focus on safety and records-keeping is essential to daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel or resort maintenance role.
• Knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Perform electrical repairs on appliances, wiring, switches, fixtures, and motors.
• Repair plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, and sanitary systems.
• Repair woodwork, doors, windows, carpeting, and vinyl.
• Perform general mechanical maintenance on pumps, water heaters, and other equipment.
• Keep records and logs of tasks as required by policy.
• Prepare reports and submit logs in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance of building and facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Perform general electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring and air conditioning systems, switches, fixtures, and motors.
• Make repairs on plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, and sanitary systems.
• Make repairs to woodwork, wall vinyl, doors, windows, carpeting, etc.
• Perform general mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, water heaters, automotive equipment, and other miscellaneous equipment.
• Keep records as required by company policy and procedures.
• Maintain logs on completed tasks.
• Prepare reports as requested by supervisors and submit all requested reports/logs in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a maintenance role at a hotel or resort.
• Knowledge of household repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• Engaging and welcoming personality.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Compensation

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour.
