Job summary

Renaissance Ross Bridge Golf Resort & Spa is seeking a Line Cook to prepare and season a variety of dishes for hotel restaurant outlets, pastry kitchen or banquet kitchen under direction of culinary supervisors. You will plate meals, maintain cleanliness, follow production lists and ensure quality and consistency for guests.

The role requires following recipes, conducting sensory checks, reporting issues, and maintaining proper sanitation throughout service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a hotel or banquet kitchen is a plus.
• Ability to follow recipes and culinary directions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare items per recipe cards and plate dishes to ensure consistency.
• Conduct sensory evaluations of products before service to ensure quality.
• Report substandard products to Supervisors or Chefs to address issues.
• Maintain clean and sanitized service line and equipment.
• Monitor temperatures for hot and cold holding according to safety rules.
• Assist in meal function setup and maintain production lists.
• Support kitchen operations and assist Lead Cooks as needed.
• Foster teamwork and positive working relationships in the department.
