Holiday Inn Austin-Midtown is seeking a Line Cook to efficiently prepare menu items on the hot line in a hotel kitchen. You will follow recipes, maintain food safety, and work with the team to deliver quality dining experiences for guests.

The role involves handling hot equipment, staying aware of safety rules, meeting daily line needs, and reporting issues to the Executive Chef. Prior experience is not required, but reliability and teamwork are essential.

• Knowledge of kitchen line setup and workflow.

• Efficiently prepare food items as ordered.
• Exercise food safety and kitchen sanitation practices to deliver a quality product.
• Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes.
• Proper preparation of meat, fish, vegetables, and other foods.
• Review daily assignments with your supervisor.
• Plan for anticipated demand throughout your shift.
• Abide by all state and local health codes.
• Maintain cleanliness and working order of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Prepare and maintain the line and par levels as required by the current menu.
