Excel Hotel Group is hiring a Line Cook to prepare, cook and plate food for hotel guests by following pre-established recipe specifications and plating procedures.

In this role, you will work with a friendly, service-oriented approach and maintain safe, high-standards kitchen operations while complying with all relevant regulations.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years related work experience
• Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours in a day
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and follow verbal directions

Responsibilities

• Approaches all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Complies with company, hotel, and brand standards which encourage a safe and efficient hotel operation.
• Cooks, sautés, broils, plates all food items strictly adhering to recipe and plating specifications.
• Exhibits a professional demeanor, while working with passion and integrity.
• Assists teammates as needed and follows the directives of the management team.
• Adheres to all food-related safety practices set forth by Company, state, and federal regulations and standards.
• Maintains a clean and well organized workstation
