Job summary

PM Hotel Group is hiring an Assistant General Manager for Caption by Hyatt Hillsboro in Hillsboro, OR. This on-site, full-time role places you as the hotel’s second in command, partnering with department heads to implement policies and ensure smooth daily operation while engaging with guests.

You’ll interview and hire staff, resolve guest concerns, and help guide the General Manager’s administrative duties. The position requires leadership and a capable, team-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hotel management or a related field.
• At least 4 years of management experience in the hotel industry.
• Fluency in English; familiarity with OSHA and health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Interview and hire new employees.
• Receives and resolves guest complaints.
• Assigns duties to department heads and observes performance to ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures.
• Support the General Manager in establishing and monitoring policies and guidelines in day-to-day operation of the hotel.
• Steps in and acts as General Manager in their absence.
