Job summary

Olympia Hospitality is seeking a Laundry Attendant to wash, iron, fold, and distribute linens for our hotel properties in Massachusetts. You’ll operate washers and dryers, sort laundry by type, and help keep the laundry areas orderly and efficient while delivering clean items to guests and teams.

We value reliability and a friendly, service-oriented attitude. The role requires standing for long periods, lifting moderate loads, and flexibility with hours to meet property needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Flexibility for long hours may be required.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects.
• Ability to stand during the entire shift.
• Maintain regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Attend guests and coworkers in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Understand operation of washing machines and dryers.
• Load and unload washes according to standards.
• Wash and dry all dirty linens and textiles.
• Sort linens by type, color, and size.
• Pre-treat stained linen before washing.
• Clean dryer filter daily and maintain equipment.
• Operate iron and ensure it is turned off at day end.
• Sweep and mop laundry floors and keep area tidy.
• Fold towels and linens as needed.
• Remove and sort dirty linens from carts.
• Keep laundry carts clean and debris-free.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Sort clean laundry and load carts.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
