Job summary

The North Conway Grand Hotel, part of Olympia Hospitality, seeks a Laundry Attendant to wash, iron, fold, and distribute all linens. This position offers $20.00 per hour and a path to a team focused on service excellence and efficient laundry operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• Flexible and long hours are sometimes required.
• Ability to frequently and/or constantly lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
• Maintain regular attendance

Responsibilities

• Wash and dry all dirty linens, towels, rags, etc.
• Sort all hotel linen according to type, color, size, etc.
• Pre-treat all stained linen before washing.
• Load and unload washes according to standards.
• Operate iron and ensure it is shut off at the end of day.
• Keep laundry carts clean and free of debris.
• Maintain clean work area.
• Sort clean laundry according to type and load carts.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
