Job summary

The Chifley Tapestry Collection, Houston Galleria is seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to ensure efficient retrieval, processing, and distribution of laundry for our guests. You will work in a team, support 24/7 operations, and help maintain high cleanliness standards in a luxury hotel setting.

Responsibilities include sorting stained garments, operating ironing and folding machines, restocking supplies, monitoring chemicals and water usage, and keeping work areas neat and safe.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and hotel policies.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Sort stained or damaged items and decide if rewash or discard.
• Operate ironing and folding machines and process cleaned articles.
• Fold and stack items by type and size; place in distribution areas.
• Remove lint from dryer filters and monitor machine cleanliness.
• Follow OSHA regulations and hotel chemical handling guidelines.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and restock supplies for next shift.
