Job summary

The Chifley Houston, Tapestry Collection by Hilton is seeking a Laundry Associate to ensure efficient retrieval, processing, and distribution of laundry for guests. This role involves operating laundry equipment, folding and stacking items by type and size, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

You'll work within a 24/7 hotel environment, adapting to varying shifts and responsibilities while adhering to all safety policies and hotel procedures. No prior experience required; training provided.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required.
• Any combination of education and experience acceptable.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sort stained/damaged items and determine status for rewash or discard.
• Operate ironing and folder machines according to specifications.
• Fold cleaned articles and stack by type and size.
• Remove lint and debris from dryer filters.
• Use cleaning chemicals per OSHA regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Assist other housekeeping staff when needed.
