Job summary

Sonesta Hotels International Corporation is seeking a Laundry Attendant to work in the hotel laundry facility and assist with room and public area cleaning. You will sort linens, operate laundry machines, monitor supplies, and ensure timely service to guests according to brand standards.

Qualifications

• Some previous commercial laundry experience preferred.
• Extended stay industry experience preferred.
• Fluent English preferred; other languages beneficial.
• Basic reading, writing and mathematical abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Sonesta service to guests following G.U.E.S.T. standards.
• Sort soiled linens by kind, color and soil; inspect items.
• Operate washers and dryers per hotel standards and guidelines.
• Monitor supplies and equipment for sufficiency and upkeep.
• Fold, store cleaned linens; report damages to supervisor.
• Clean and service rooms and spaces per standards; may clean kitchen and appliances.
• Notify supervisor when service is complete and report unserviceable rooms.
• Report repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor; assist with deep cleaning.
