Job summary

Residence Inn Montgomeryville in North Wales, PA is seeking a Laundry Attendant to wash, iron, fold, and distribute linens and towels. The role requires operating laundry machines, sorting linens, and maintaining clean work areas to support guest satisfaction.

The position is full-time, hourly, with potential for flexible hours and adherence to Highgate Hotel Standards. Training on equipment and safety is provided, with opportunities for growth within the housekeeping department.

Qualifications

• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Highgate Hotel Standards.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including uniform and nametag.
• Comply with Highgate Hotel Standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.

Responsibilities

• Wash, iron, fold and distribute soiled linens, towels, napkins, and tablecloths.
• Operate and understand washing machines and dryers; load/unload according to standards.
• Sort linens by type, color and size; pre-treat stained items.
• Keep laundry area clean; maintain carts and equipment.
• Sweep/mop floors; store linens off the floor; maintain organization.
• Ensure guest satisfaction through efficient laundry operations.
