Job summary

Hyatt House Atlanta Perimeter in Sandy Springs, GA is seeking a Part Time Kitchen Utility to maintain cleanliness, proper storage of china, glass, and silverware, and uphold sanitation standards in the kitchen and storage areas. You will assist kitchen staff with cleaning equipment and workspaces, and help with food storage and rotation.

Qualifications

• Maintain a friendly, attentive, and service-oriented approach when interacting with guests and team members.
• Communicate effectively with team members and guests, maintaining a positive attitude.
• Operate dishwashing equipment to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitation of china, glass, and silverware.
• Store clean items properly to minimize breakage and ensure accessibility.
• Wash pots, pans, and kitchen utensils following cleanliness and sanitation procedures.
• Sweep and mop floors in kitchen and restaurant areas for a clean work environment.
• Empty garbage and maintain cleanliness of back dock and dumpster area.
• Assist with proper food storage, ensuring items are stored according to safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all storage areas.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down buffet and banquet areas as needed.
• Follow hotel policies and procedures.
