Job summary

Pittsburgh Marriott City Center is seeking a dedicated restaurant support teammate to assist Stewarding Supervisor and outlets with cleaning and organization of Food and Beverage areas. You will help keep equipment and service ware polished, stocked, and ready for service while following hotel standards.

The role requires physical stamina, communication skills, and the ability to lift and move heavy objects as part of a fast-paced hospitality team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of service ware and how to maintain it to support guest experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt communication style for different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist Stewarding Supervisor and Restaurant Outlets in cleaning and organizing Food and Beverage Outlets.
• Promptly sort soiled ware for dish/pot machines and maintain storage areas.
• Keep dish machine clean and filled; operate burnishing machine; de-tarnish and polish silver.
• Help cooks by ensuring kettles, pans and pots are cleaned promptly.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
