Hilton in San Juan, Puerto Rico is seeking a Utility Steward to support kitchen operations. The role includes washing and restocking dishes, maintaining cleanliness across the cafeteria and service areas, and assisting with banquets and room service as needed.

You will follow health and safety standards, assist co-workers, and help ensure a smooth dining experience for guests in a hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Transport and clean cooking utensils and service ware to provide cooks and food servers with equipment.
• Also requires cleaning of surrounding areas.
• Restock all dishes and utensils as they are cleaned.
• Operates dishwasher to clean all dishes and utensils used in the kitchen, Room Service, Banquets and Cafeteria.
• Scrubs pots and pans.
• Restocks all supplies in assigned areas and maintains organization.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes and restocks clean glassware, silverware, and plates.
• Performs general and deep cleaning to meet Health Department and hotel standards.
• Removes trash from all containers in F&B areas and disposes properly.
• Ensures supplies are stored, labeled and accessible for service.
• Sets up mise en place for events and stations for service staff.
