Job summary

Pearl Hospitality is seeking a Hotel Restaurant Steward to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in our hotel dining and kitchen areas. You will clean dishware, manage waste, and support the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.

The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work flexible schedules including mornings, days, weekends, and holidays. ServSafe certification is a plus and experience in high-volume settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Prior experience as a steward/dishwasher in hotel/restaurant is an asset.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.
• Flexibility to work mornings, days, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, dishwashing, and storage areas to health standards.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables properly and ensure timely removal.
• Replenish supplies such as linens, condiments, and tableware as needed.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as requested by kitchen team.
• Report equipment issues to supervisor promptly to avoid disruption.
• Follow safety and hygiene protocols to prevent contamination.
