Job summary

Valor Hospitality Partners is seeking a dedicated culinary professional to prepare and plate high-quality dishes for hotel guests. You will work across pantry and fry stations, ensuring appearance and taste meet brand standards while maintaining sanitary work environments.

The role requires basic kitchen experience, a high school diploma (culinary certification preferred), and the ability to follow recipes and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Proficient in basic culinary techniques and kitchen operations.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to read and follow production standards and recipes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items for pantry, fry stations or kitchen areas following recipes and standards.
• Manage prep ahead to avoid overproduction and waste.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to assemble orders accurately and timely.
• Rotate and date per SOPs, maintain proper temperatures for perishables.
• Assist in maintaining buffet displays and stock levels.
• Note shortages and communicate with team to prevent shortages.
• Help reduce food costs by minimizing waste and improper usage.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
