DoubleTree St. Augustine Hotel Historic District is seeking a Cook 1 to prepare culinary items for guests and hotel clientele. You will handle daily prep, maintain quality, and work across kitchen stations to ensure timely, consistent service.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required; culinary certificate preferred.
• Six months to one year in a food/beverage environment.
• Ability to read recipes and follow SOPs precisely.
• Stand and lift 20–40 lbs; long periods of standing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipes and standards.
• Work all kitchen stations: broiler, sauté, fry, pantry, expediter.
• Date and rotate food items; maintain proper temperatures.
• Assist with cost control, waste reduction, and inventory.
