Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair minor mechanical issues with kitchen equipment.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on kitchen equipment.
• Read and interpret technical manuals and instruction sheets.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair minor mechanical issues with kitchen equipment, including stoves, dishwashers, and refrigeration units.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure all kitchen equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Install and set up new kitchen equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and hotel standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and complete repairs in a timely manner to minimize operational disruptions.
• Coordinate with vendors to source and purchase replacement parts and necessary repair materials.
• Train culinary and kitchen staff on proper equipment use, safety procedures, and basic maintenance practices.
• Collaborate closely with culinary operations to support efficient workflows and optimal equipment performance.
