Job summary

The Bahia Resort Hotel in San Diego, CA is seeking an entry-level Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness in kitchens and Food & Beverage areas and to support banquet and event setup, following Health Department regulations and hotel standards.

You will wash dishes, sanitize surfaces, and assist with meal service while collaborating with a friendly kitchen team. Weekend and holiday availability is required; prior experience is helpful but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in dishwashing or food service preferred.
• Ability to work weekends/holidays.
• Must obtain San Diego County Food Handler certification upon hire.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain highest level of cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen areas.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment.
• Clean floors, surfaces, and kitchen stations.
• Assist with banquet and event setup.
• Support kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow.
