Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center is seeking an experienced Building Engineer/HVAC Mechanic to maintain boilers, air handlers, chillers and BAS in a high-rise hotel. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, parts inventory, and monitoring equipment performance.

You will support repairs to kitchen and laundry equipment, require strong troubleshooting and teamwork, and must be able to work weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience with large building mechanical systems including boilers and chillers.
• Strong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays and flexible shifts.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems and boilers.
• Enter occupancy schedules and monitor equipment on BAS.
• Maintain mechanical rooms and inventory parts.
• Assist with repairs to kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Communicate clearly with team; work weekends/holidays as needed.
