Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton Phoenix Scottsdale is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations across locations in the United States. The role oversees recruitment, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws to foster a fair, respectful, and high-performing work environment.

The ideal candidate has experience in hotel HR, strong communication skills, and a track record of implementing effective HR policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year hotel or human resources experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in human resources management or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of State employment laws, labor regulations, and affirmative action requirements.
• Proven experience in benefits administration and employee relations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor affirmative action plans to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies, ensuring accuracy and employee understanding.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee development initiatives.
• Handle employee relations matters by addressing concerns, mediating conflicts, and conducting investigations when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and labor regulations by updating policies and conducting regular audits.
• Oversee disciplinary procedures, including documentation, counseling, and performance improvement plans.
• Collaborate with management to develop and enforce human resources policies that support organizational objectives.
• Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports related to workforce metrics and compliance.
• Provide guidance and training to managers and employees on HR best practices and legal requirements.
• Lead HR operations to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency within the department.
