Residence Inn by Marriott Pleasanton is seeking a friendly Houseperson to help keep guest rooms, corridors and public areas clean, inviting and well‑maintained, providing the warm, home‑away‑from‑home experience guests expect.

The role supports housekeeping operations as Houseperson, Guest Room Attendant and Laundry helper as needed, with a flexible schedule including mornings, weekends and holidays; hourly pay is $21.35 with overtime eligibility.

Qualifications

• Previous Houseperson and/or Guest Room Attendant experience preferred.
• Must be willing and able to perform all housekeeping duties.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and delivering excellent guest experiences.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or over.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest rooms, hallways and public areas are clean and inviting.
• Support housekeeping functions as Houseperson, Guest Room Attendant and Laundry as needed.

The Residence Inn by Marriott Pleasanton is a lovely all-suite hotel, located near I-580 and I-680, adjacent to the Stoneridge Mall. Our extended stay hotel with 3 floors, 135 suites and 3 meeting rooms offers the "home away from home" experience to our guests.

This position is responsible for ensuring that guest rooms, hallways, and public areas throughout the hotel are clean, well-maintained, and inviting. The role supports various housekeeping functions, including working as a Houseperson, Guest Room Attendant and in the Laundry department as needed.

This role requires schedule flexibility, including weekends and holidays. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to outstanding customer service are essential for success in this position.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous Houseperson and/or Guest Room Attendant experience in a full service or limited service hotel or similar job experience preferred.
• Must be willing and able to perform all housekeeping duties.
• A flexible schedule is required, including availability to work morning (AM) shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent guest experiences
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be 18 years of age or over
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working in a team orientated environment
• Relevant military experience in a comparable capacity
