Residence Inn Pleasanton is seeking a friendly Houseperson to join our all-suite hotel near Stoneridge Mall. The role involves keeping guest rooms, hallways, and public areas clean and inviting, supporting housekeeping functions, and assisting in laundry as needed.

The position requires a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, strong communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to outstanding guest service in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or over required.
• Must be willing to perform all housekeeping duties.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Keep guest rooms, hallways, and public areas clean and inviting.
• Support housekeeping functions, including Laundry as needed.
• Work as Houseperson, Guest Room Attendant, and in Laundry when required.
• Provide excellent guest service and flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays.

The Residence Inn by Marriott Pleasanton is a lovely all-suite hotel, located near I-580 and I-680, adjacent to the Stoneridge Mall. Our extended stay hotel with 3 floors, 135 suites and 3 meeting rooms offers the "home away from home" experience to our guests.

This position is responsible for ensuring that guest rooms, hallways, and public areas throughout the hotel are clean, well-maintained, and inviting. The role supports various housekeeping functions, including working as a Houseperson, Guest Room Attendant and in the Laundry department as needed.

This role requires schedule flexibility, including weekends and holidays. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to outstanding customer service are essential for success in this position.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous Houseperson and/or Guest Room Attendant experience in a full service or limited service hotel or similar job experience preferred.
• Must be willing and able to perform all housekeeping duties.
• A flexible schedule is required, including availability to work morning (AM) shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent guest experiences
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be 18 years of age or over
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills
• Experience working in a team orientated environment
• Relevant military experience in a comparable capacity
