Job summary

Hollywood Casino St. Louis is hiring a Houseperson to support housekeeping operations. The role offers a base pay of $16.00 per hour plus a small amenity fee, with shifts from 9:30am–6:00pm or 11:00am–7:00pm.

This position includes benefits and opportunities to grow within a fast-paced hospitality team. Responsibilities include stocking supplies, reporting maintenance, cleaning guest areas, and performing deep cleaning tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Work environment includes varying noise levels depending on volume.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and all staff levels.
• Able to clean and replenish soft and hard supplies.
• Able to move throughout the building and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Demonstrates knowledge of housekeeping practices and procedures.
• Ability to communicate in English and understand directions.

Responsibilities

• Stock housekeeping supplies and linen; deliver items to guest rooms.
• Report maintenance needs and service issues as they arise.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures; vacuum, mop, clean floors, and dispose of trash.

Responsibilities

As a Houseperson, you will:

Pay: $16.00 + Amenity Fee ($1.00 - $2.00) per hour | 9:30am-6:00pm or 11:00am-7:00pm

• Stock housekeeping supplies and linen and deliver housekeeping related items to guest rooms.
• Report all maintenance needs and service issues as needed.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures, vacuum, mop, sweep, shampoo carpets, clean/wax floors, remove and dispose of trash and empty ashtrays.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (mattress flipping, furniture moves, etc.) as needed.

Physical Demands- This position will require you to be standing during the duration of your shift. In this role, you can expect to use your hands, crouch, kneel, and be physically active throughout your shift. Our hotel team must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
