Job summary

Hollywood Casino St. Louis is seeking a Houseperson to support housekeeping operations on-site. Responsibilities include stocking supplies, delivering items to guest rooms, and reporting maintenance issues to keep rooms clean and ready for guests.

You may perform deep cleaning tasks as needed and must be able to lift up to 40 pounds. The role starts at $16.00 per hour plus an amenity fee, with shifts from 9:30am–6:00pm or 11:00am–7:00pm.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and all levels of employees.
• Ability to clean and replenish soft and hard supplies.
• Ability to move between floors as needed.
• Demonstrates knowledge of housekeeping practices.
• Ability to communicate in English and understand directions.

Responsibilities

• Stock housekeeping supplies and linen and deliver housekeeping related items to guest rooms.
• Report all maintenance needs and service issues as needed.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures, vacuum, mop, sweep, shampoo carpets, clean/wax floors, remove and dispose of trash and empty ashtrays.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (mattress flipping, furniture moves, etc.) as needed.

As a Houseperson , you will:

Pay: $16.00 + Amenity Fee ($1.00 - $2.00) per hour | 9:30am-6:00pm or 11:00am-7:00pm

Physical Demands - This position will require you to be standing during the duration of your shift. In this role, you can expect to use your hands, crouch, kneel, and be physically active throughout your shift. Our hotel team must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
