Job summary

Traditions Hospitality Group is seeking a Houseman for overnight, part-time shifts at Golden Mesa Casino Hotel in Guymon, OK. You will maintain cleanliness of public areas, assist with linens and supplies, and help event spaces while delivering guest-friendly service.

The position requires 18+ years old, ability to pass a background check, and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Benefits and daily pay options are available to part-time staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to obtain a Gaming License (if applicable).
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other common areas, ensuring they are neat, orderly, and free of debris.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas.
• Assist housekeeping staff with the delivery of linens, towels, and other supplies to guest rooms as needed.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities, such as extra towels or toiletries.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as vacuuming, dusting, and mopping floors.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and amenities in public areas.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of meeting rooms, banquet halls, and other event spaces.
• Collaborate with other hotel staff and departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and resolve any issues or concerns.
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality in all aspects of your work.

HOUSEMAN

As a Houseman for Traditions Hospitality Group, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our hotel facilities. Your attention to detail and dedication to guest satisfaction will contribute to creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist guests and colleagues.
• Occasional exposure to mild to moderate smoke in certain areas of the hotel.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT

• Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Lift and carry moderate to heavy loads 50 lbs. or more including linens and cleaning supplies.
• Exposure to various weather conditions when performing outdoor duties.
• Moderate physical effort required.
