Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor in a hotel or similar setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with cleaning and maintenance for large facilities.
• Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment and products.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Strong organizational and team management skills.
• Stamina for physically demanding tasks.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assign housekeeping tasks and inspect work to meet cleanliness standards.
• Provide training to housekeeping staff and oversee daily operations.
• Check rooms and common areas for cleanliness; monitor supplies.
• Schedule shifts and arrange replacements for absences.
• Handle guest complaints and special requests; address issues.
• Inform management of equipment or furniture in need of repairs.
• Screen applicants and assist with promotions or transfers.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies.
• Open/close the house and cover callouts if needed.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
