Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team to ensure efficient operations and consistent service quality.
• Train, coach, and motivate housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques, maintenance procedures, guest service, and established hotel standards.
• Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, stairways, lounges, and back‑of‑house spaces to ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper presentation.
• Assign daily tasks, prepare work schedules, and arrange appropriate staffing coverage based on absences and operational demands.
• Establish, communicate, and enforce housekeeping standards for cleanliness, sanitation, hygiene, and overall property appearance.
• Monitor employee performance, provide constructive feedback, and support ongoing staff development.
• Address employee concerns and resolve daily operational challenges promptly and professionally.
• Respond to guest requests, concerns, and complaints related to housekeeping services, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate follow‑up.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain adequate supplies of cleaning products, chemicals, linens, and other housekeeping materials.
• Ensure housekeeping supplies, equipment, and storage areas are properly organized, maintained, and used safely.
• Participate in deep‑cleaning initiatives, special projects, and other housekeeping duties as needed.
• Ensure all housekeeping operations comply with hotel policies, safety protocols, sanitation standards, and applicable regulations.
• Identify and report maintenance concerns, room deficiencies, damaged equipment, and potential safety hazards to the appropriate department.
• Collaborate with the Executive Housekeeper, Front Office, Maintenance/Engineering, and other departments to support smooth hotel operations and guest satisfaction.
• Foster a professional, respectful, and team‑oriented work environment that promotes accountability, cooperation, and high performance.
