Job summary

Holiday Inn Express Bettendorf is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily housekeeping operations and ensure guest rooms and public areas meet cleanliness standards.

You will manage staffing, mentor staff, enforce safety procedures, and respond to guest requests while supporting maintenance and training initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1+ years supervising a department of ten or more employees.
• Prior housekeeping and laundry experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict and improve employee performance.
• Oversees that staff is trained and observing all safety and security procedures.
• Assists manager in preventative maintenance programs for guest rooms and public areas.

• Inspects guest rooms/suites, linen rooms, and public areas to assure that the property's standards of housekeeping and cleanliness are maintained by employees to meet guest satisfaction.
• Other duties as assigned.
