Job summary

Red Hawk Resort + Casino is seeking a hotel housekeeping team member to maintain clean rooms, hallways, and public areas. You will greet guests professionally, assist with requests within policy, and support department projects while upholding health and safety standards.

The role requires staying on your feet for long periods, lifting up to 40 pounds, and demonstrating excellent communication and confidentiality. Previous casino/hotel cleaning experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Casino/hotel industry experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
• 6 months of cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to clean as directed with acceptable performance.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Stand or walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Lift and carry up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Enhance guest experience by keeping facility clean and orderly within defined timelines.
• Deliver quality service meeting guests' needs.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, safe, and organized environment in accordance with health regulations.
• Present a professional appearance and follow grooming policies.
• Stay informed on department knowledge and promotions.
• Clean hotel rooms, hallways, linen rooms, and storage areas as directed.
• Maintain and clean equipment used during shifts.
• Document duties accomplished during shifts.
• Report safety hazards or maintenance issues promptly.
• Greet guests with proper salutation and pleasant demeanor.
• Assist guests within authority and guidelines to ensure satisfaction.
• Perform duties quietly and orderly; support department projects as needed.
