Job summary

The Beatrice in Providence is seeking a Housekeeping Attendant to provide high-quality service by cleaning guest rooms promptly and maintaining public areas. You will support back-of-house needs, ensure supplies are stocked, and collaborate with front desk to optimize room turnover.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (GED acceptable) and hotel experience, with bilingual ability being a plus. The role requires flexibility for nights and weekends and a professional appearance consistent

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED helpful or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• Bi-lingual desired.
• Previous hotel or industrial experience desired.
• Experience in hotels working in various assignments within the same or other departments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including a clean, pressed uniform and nametag.
• Clean and service assigned guest rooms in a timely and organized manner according to procedures and standards.
• Notify guest services (front desk) when service is complete so rooms may be sold.
• Report needed repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Maintain linen cart and supplies in a neat and organized manner and ensure department standards.
