Job summary

Beatrice is seeking a House Person to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of public hotel areas, including restrooms and corridors. You will assist Room Attendants by delivering linens and supplies, and help with light maintenance tasks as part of a team.

The position requires friendly, service-oriented interactions with guests and staff, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to work varying shifts including nights and weekends. Prior hotel experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in hotel or related field preferred.
• Must be able to convey information clearly, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of public areas, restrooms, corridors.
• Assist room attendants with supplies and linens.
• Shampoo carpets and strip and wax floors as part of maintenance.
• Sweep, vacuum, and clean designated areas daily.
• Report maintenance problems or safety hazards to management.
• Attend meetings/training as required.
