Job summary

Hilton Cleveland Downtown is seeking an Housekeeping Houseperson responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel and assisting with guest requests to ensure exceptional guest service and property upkeep.

You would perform duties including cleaning restrooms, public areas, offices, and banquet/meeting rooms, and you may assist with cleaning guest rooms as needed. A friendly guest-focused attitude and ability to report maintenance issues are essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas including restrooms, public areas, offices, and banquet/meeting/conference rooms
• Perform tasks such as dusting, polishing, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, carpet shampooing, windows washing, floor cleaning/waxing
• Remove and dispose of trash and empty ashtrays
• Greet guests in a friendly manner
• Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair
• Stock and maintain supply rooms as needed
• Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (e.g., mattress flipping, furniture moves) as needed
• Deliver guest requests and assist in cleaning guest rooms as needed
