Job summary

Mondrian South Beach is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the guest room and public area cleaning program at our luxury hotel. You will oversee daily operations, coach staff, and ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, and service standards to delight guests.

This role requires strong leadership, scheduling, inventory control, and training skills, with a focus on efficiency, quality checks, and collaboration with other departments to support exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping or custodial experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication with team members and guests.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure timely and thorough cleaning of guest rooms and public areas.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards of cleanliness and adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping team members to promote professional development and improve service quality.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Prepare work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor attendance to optimize workforce efficiency and coverage.
• Address guest requests and resolve complaints promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall hotel operations and guest services.
