Job summary

SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Concord, NC is hiring for a full-time Housekeeping Manager. The role directs housekeeping operations, supervises staff, and ensures the highest standards of cleanliness across the hotel.

You will schedule staff, monitor budgets, coordinate room readiness, and strive to meet brand inspection scores. Weekday and weekend availability is required. This position offers competitive salary and daily pay options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage with guests and staff.
• Detail oriented leadership and supervision of housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Provides a clean, well maintained hotel by supervising the Laundry and Housekeeping operations
• Utilizes leadership skills, effective communication, and motivation techniques to maximize productivity and satisfaction
• Schedules employees in accordance with forecasted occupancy; adjusts staffing as necessary for sudden changes in occupancy
• Coordinates availability of rooms with Guest Care Manager/General Manager
• Supervises the daily activities of the housekeeping staff
• Monitors responses on customer comment cards; identifies problem areas and formulates solutions
• Conducts continual inspections to determine hotel’s overall level of cleanliness; performs follow up
• Monitors performance against approved budget; makes recommendations
• Oversees inventory, purchasing, disbursement, and cost control for linens and supplies
• Prepares reports to aid management decision making
