Shaner Hotels is seeking a housekeeping leader for the Fort Lauderdale Downtown Courtyard by Marriott, a 137-room property near Fort Lauderdale Beach with a rooftop bar and pool. The role oversees the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional cleanliness and guest experiences in a dynamic hotel environment.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of housekeeping management in hospitality, with strong communication skills and a bilingual English/Spanish advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of housekeeping management experience in the hospitality industry.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management, and co-workers.
• High school graduate or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the housekeeping staff to ensure high quality service.
• Prepare weekly work schedules and adjust to meet business demands.
• Hire, train and develop team members and ensure all required training is completed.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all assigned areas.
• Handle guest complaints and ensure guest satisfaction.
