Job summary

Peachtree Group is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to oversee the housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards while delivering the highest quality guest care. You will staff, schedule, train, and develop all housekeeping and laundry staff.

You will manage daily activities, direct the team to achieve guest satisfaction, supervise hires and disciplinary actions, maintain supplies, uphold OSHA safety standards, and prepare the annual housekeeping

Job description

The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and developing of the overall operation of the housekeeping department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and guidelines along with assuring the highest degree of quality guest care are maintained at all times. Responsible for staffing, scheduling, training, and developing all housekeeping and laundry staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily activities of the housekeeping department.
• Planning, organizing, and directing team members to ensure the highest degree of guest satisfaction.
• Supervises all housekeeping employees hires new employees as needed, discharges employees when necessary and take disciplinary actions when policies are not followed
• Purchase, re-order and maintain housekeeping supplies and inventory.
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety standards within the housekeeping department.
• Prepare Annual Housekeeping Budget.
