Job summary

Kiawah Island Golf Resort is seeking a dependable House Person to assist the housekeeping team on-site at The Sanctuary. You will help transport linens, restock closets, and respond to guest needs with speed and accuracy.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to resort standards. Training and background checks are required, with opportunities for growth within housekeeping.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant housekeeping experience.
• Proficient in English written and spoken.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist room attendants with heavy items such as mattresses and linens.
• Deliver linens and supplies to room attendants and stock closets on assigned floors.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of floor closets and vending areas.
• Respond to guests' requests for housekeeping supplies promptly and respectfully.
• Clean designated areas including public restrooms and storage areas.
• Observe radio system and RGuest app to accept department requests.
• Monitor supplies and minimize waste across housekeeping areas.
• Restock work areas for the next shift.
• Report faulty equipment or shortages to supervisor.
• Uphold resort policies and participate in training programs.
