You will oversee 10-30 staff, manage schedules, safety practices, inventory, and interdepartmental communication to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Establishes standards and procedures for housekeeping and laundry staff.
• Plans work schedules to ensure service within labor budgets.
• Monitors chemical usage and cleaning procedures to control costs.
• Maintains MSDS sheets and educates staff on safety protocols.
• Inspects guestrooms daily; may assist in cleaning or laundry.
• Secures and manages housekeeping room keys.
• Communicates with Front Desk on room inventory and updates systems.
• Ensures guest satisfaction by addressing questions and concerns promptly.
• Inspects property condition; plans carpet cleaning and deep cleaning schedules.
• Submits recommendations for painting, repairs, and reallocation of space.
• Inventories and purchases supplies and equipment per budget.
• Investigates new and improved cleaning instruments and methods.
• Manages guest lost and found.
• Schedules and inspects deep cleaning.
