Job summary

Hilton in Jersey City is seeking an experienced housekeeping leader to supervise and develop a dynamic team in a fast-paced hotel environment. You will oversee daily operations, balance guest satisfaction with staff development, conduct inspections, and provide coaching to ensure safety and service standards.

This on-site role requires hands-on leadership, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage daily tasks while upholding Hilton’s Pride/CARE culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory/management experience in the hotel industry preferred.
• Knowledge of housekeeping operations, safety standards and hazardous chemical compliance (HazCom).
• Ability to read/write basic English for reports and instructions.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Distribute and delegate room and cleaning assignments daily.
• Interview, select and train housekeeping team members.
• Supervise staff performance via room inspections and coaching.
• Plan staff meetings and disseminate information from operations.
• Assist with supplies, PPE, and safety compliance.
• Lead hotel-wide changes and ensure guest requests are handled promptly.
