Highgate Hotels in Homestead, FL is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee housekeeping operations across assigned sections and stand in for the Housekeeping Manager when needed.

The role requires supervising staff, maintaining cleanliness standards, and ensuring guest satisfaction. A high school diploma and 2–3 years of hotel experience are preferred, with strong communication skills essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two to three years of progressive hotel experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.

Responsabilités

• Inspect Room Attendant’s work performance daily to ensure standards.
• In the absence of Housekeeping Manager, inspect VIP rooms and report availability.
• Oversee end-of-day floor closing and restocking of carts.
• Maintain daily assignments records and submit to Housekeeping Office on time.
• Carry an active pager/radio to communicate with Front Office/Engineering.
• Initiate work orders for repairs and follow through until completion.
• Assist with training of Housekeeping staff.
• May clean rooms as needed to meet business demands.
• Ensure completion of cleaning projects biannually and guest satisfaction.
