Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a House Attendant to support the housekeeping team across assigned floors. You will help Room Attendants by delivering linens, assisting with laundry, and maintaining closet and corridor cleanliness, while responding to guest requests and safety concerns.

The role requires morning/evening shifts, weekend/holiday availability, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred in an active hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Some previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Extended stay experience preferred.
• Fluent English reading/writing preferred; other languages beneficial.
• Basic reading, writing and math abilities preferred.
• Frequently standing, bending, kneeling, and moving about the facility.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and handle cleaning chemicals safely.
• Mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays work availability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver linens and supplies to Room Attendants; collect soiled items.
• Assist with laundry, fold/store linens, and report damages.
• Maintain cleanliness of closets, corridors, and public areas.
• Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally.
• Ensure health and safety guidelines are followed; report issues.
