Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a House Attendant to support the housekeeping team, helping Room Attendants with linens, supplies, and cleaning tasks across floors and public areas. The role involves lifting up to 75 pounds, standing and moving about the facility, and working mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Some previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Extended stay industry background preferred.
• Fluent English reading, writing and comprehension preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on the promise of Sonesta Service in all interactions with guests and clients according to Sonesta G.U.E.S.T. standards.
• Assist Room Attendants with heavy items such as mattresses and linens; deliver linens and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of floor closets and corridors; remove trash and sweep/mop floors.
• Respond to guests' requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Clean public areas such as restrooms, storage rooms, and other public spaces.
• Report needed repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Assist with laundry as assigned; operate washers/dryers per guidelines.
• Promote teamwork and communicate with other shifts and management.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
