Job summary

The Inn at Virginia Tech & Skelton Conference Center is seeking two part-time Housekeepers to join our team in Blacksburg, VA. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour with weekend, holiday, and Hokie Game Day shifts as needed.

Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms, making and stripping beds, stocking linen and supplies, and supporting other housekeeping tasks to maintain the hotel’s high standards. No prior experience required, education preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and Hokie Game Days as needed.
• Ability to perform physical housekeeping duties and work as part of a team.
• Some high school education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make and strip beds and tidy guest rooms.
• Clean guest rooms, stock linen and supplies.
• Transport linens and supplies to floor closets.
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness of public areas.
• Report damages or maintenance needs to supervisor.
• Ensure security of guest room access and hotel property.
