Job summary

The Roosevelt Hotel in Gardiner, Montana seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to clean, restock, and maintain hotel rooms as assigned. Responsibilities include prioritizing early-clean rooms, restocking supplies, and ensuring rooms meet hotel standards through a final walkaround.

Responsibilities also cover luggage and amenities handling, coordinating with maintenance, and reporting any issues. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds and work a seven-day rotation with occasional afternoon shifts.

Responsibilities

• Receives list of assigned rooms from manager and prioritizes rooms requesting early cleaning.
• Checks inventory of cleaning cart and restocks supplies as needed.
• Knocks and announces self before entering room and returns if occupied.
• Removes soiled linens and provides fresh replacements.
• Makes beds and stocks towels and linens per policy.
• Cleans and disinfects bathrooms and kitchenette areas.
• Wipes surfaces and cleans mirrors.
• Vacuum floors and remove trash.
• Restocks coffee, snacks, and toiletries per checklist.
• Ensures room meets standards with a final walkaround.
• Notifies supervisor of room availability and reports suspicious activity to security.
• Launders soiled linens and uses hotel washers/dryers as needed.
• Notifies maintenance of needed repairs.
• Takes found items to lost and found.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
